As well as the addition of a fixed price 2 course set menu, we’ve made some seasonal changes to our ever popular deli sandwiches, available to have here or take away, 12-3pm on weekdays.

Ash Ridge Wine Tasting
Join us in welcoming Leith Ashworth as host of our next winemaker evening featuring Ash Ridge wines.
Ash Ridge grows 14 different grape varieties between two vineyards in Hawkes Bay, creating wines from two very different climates. The Ash Ridge vineyard is certified organic and has given Leith the opportunity to merge his love for both winemaking and farming in a different approach to vineyard management, producing expressive wines that speak of place.

Unico Zelo Wine Tasting
Join us in welcoming Brendan Carter as host of our next winemaker evening featuring Unico Zelo.
Unico Zelo is all about doing Australian wine differently. Founded by Brendan and Laura Carter, the winery champions Mediterranean grape varieties, sustainable farming, and minimal-intervention winemaking to create vibrant, energetic wines bursting with personality. Fun, fresh, and a little unconventional, Unico Zelo proves that great wine doesn't have to take itself too seriously.
We'll be pairing Unico Zelo wines with dishes from our kitchen, and all wines will be available to purchase on the night, making it a great opportunity to stock up your cellar too.

Bastille Day
Celebrate Bastille Day at Strand Wine Bar with a guided tasting of delicious French food and wine that won't break the bank. Discover wines from some of France's most exciting regions, learn what makes them unique, and find a few new favourites along the way.
